Q: Can you tell us a little bit about what your role at Retail by CRS and what your typical day looks like?
A: My role at Retail by CRS mainly involves providing professional services related to Retail Pro, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most valuable and exciting experiences of my career so far. What makes it really special is the chance to work closely with international retailers from different markets. Every client comes with their own unique needs and challenges, and helping them solve these using technology is something I truly enjoy and find very rewarding.
A normal day for me at CRS is quite interesting. I usually start by checking support tickets or any open issues from our retail clients. These can be anything from system errors to setting up new features or processes. One of the best parts of my job is that no two days are the same. Some days I’m fixing specific problems, and other days I’m giving advice or doing training sessions to help clients make better use of their systems. I’m always learning something new, and I feel lucky to be part of a team that supports creativity and problem-solving.
Right now, I’m also doing my Master’s in Supply Chain Management in Scotland. Balancing work and study keeps me very busy, but it’s also very fulfilling. My days are packed with assignments, lectures, and project deadlines, while I also make sure to give the best support and service to our clients at CRS. It’s not always easy, but I honestly feel like these are some of the most productive and meaningful days of my life. I’m happy with where I am now, but I also know there’s always room to grow and do better. That’s what motivates me. I truly believe there are even better things ahead for both me and CRS, and I’m excited for what’s next.
Q: Outside of your work life, what kind of things are you interested in? Do you have any hobbies or side projects that you’re passionate about?
A: Outside of work, I feel like I’m in a very exciting phase of life—a stage where I want to do and learn as much as I can. I’ve always been someone who’s curious, especially when it comes to technology. I love exploring new tools, learning digital skills, and just staying up to date with what’s happening in the tech world. It keeps my mind active and gives me new ideas, even for work.
One of my side interests that I’m really passionate about is trading. I’ve been learning more about digital trading and how markets work. It started as a small interest, but now I’m taking it more seriously and enjoying the learning process. I think it’s a skill that teaches you patience, discipline, and how to manage risks—things that are useful in everyday life too.
I also go to the gym almost every day. I wouldn’t call myself a professional or anything like that, but for me, it’s more about staying healthy and keeping my energy levels up.
One of my biggest passions is traveling—especially to natural places like mountains surrounded by greenery and water. I love exploring new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and trying new cuisines. Since most of my work is online, I have the flexibility to travel and still stay connected. Whether I’m on a quiet hillside or in a busy city, I can work from anywhere with just my laptop and internet.

Q: What inspired you to pursue your career path and what kind of advice would you give to someone aspiring to be in your field?
A: For me, the inspiration to pursue this career came from my interest in solving problems using technology and being part of a team that works together to make things better for the clients we support. I’ve always enjoyed taking on new challenges, especially those that involve critical thinking and technical development. There’s something very satisfying about facing a complex issue and working through it step by step, knowing that the solution you create will make someone’s job easier or help a business run more smoothly.
Another big motivator for me has been the flexibility of this career path. The world is changing, and now we can do so much just by sitting in front of a laptop from anywhere. I remember when I first started working remotely—sitting in my home, wearing comfortable clothes, maybe even pajamas—and still being able to give my 100% to the job. It made me realize that productivity doesn’t always depend on being in a formal. It’s more about your mindset, your commitment, and your ability to stay focused and deliver results.
What keeps me going in this field is the fact that every day brings something new. The technology keeps evolving, clients’ needs keep changing, and we always have to stay sharp and ready to learn. But that’s exactly what makes it exciting.
If I had to give advice to someone who wants to enter this field, I’d say—be patient, and always approach problems with a solution-focused mindset. Your main goal should be to understand what the client really needs and then do your best to help them. Sometimes the solution won’t be simple, and sometimes the client won’t even know exactly what they need—but if you’re calm, patient, and willing to figure it out step by step, that’s where you’ll really add value.
Q: If you could swap roles with someone for just one day – either within the company or outside of the industry – what would it be and why?
A: If I had the chance to swap roles for just one day, I think I’d actually like to try something completely different from my usual technical role. I love working with technology, solving problems, and helping clients through digital tools. But sometimes, it’s interesting to step out of that technical mindset and experience something more people-focused or creative.
For example, I’d be curious to step into a role that’s more about communication, marketing, or maybe even leadership—where you’re not just solving technical problems but thinking about big-picture strategies, team motivation, and company growth. I think those roles give you a whole different perspective on how things work behind the scenes—how decisions are made, how people are managed, and how a vision is created and shared.
Even outside the industry, I sometimes wonder what it would be like to be a travel content creator or someone who shares experiences with the world through videos, writing, or social media. It sounds fun and creative, but I also know there’s a lot of hard work behind it—just like in tech. I think the reason I’d like to try it is because I enjoy connecting with people and sharing knowledge or experiences.

Q: Tell us a surprising fact about you that your coworkers don’t already know.
A: One thing most people don’t know about me is that I’m absolutely crazy about heavy bikes! I’ve had a passion for them since I was young—the sound, the speed, the power—it’s something that really excites me. I love going on long rides with friends, especially to the northern areas. There’s nothing like riding through the mountains with cool wind on your face and stunning views all around you, engine roaring and your squad beside you. But don’t worry—I always gear up and ride safe… even if I’m pretending I’m in Fast & Furious – Mountain Edition! 😄🏍️
